The Dutch Nationals
2004 was planned on 20-23 May, at Muiderzand, nr.Amsterdam on the Ijsselmeer.
However, unfortunately the event had to be CANCELLED due to lack of advanced
registrations. Old information can be found here.
A gentle introduction to the Fireball is available on the Fireball International web site (click on The Boat) showing why Fireball is an exciting but cost effective and easy to sail boat.
Fireball regattas in 2004 are shown in a Fireball 2004 calendar , including worlds in Adelaide and Europeans in Slovenia ! (NB only includes a selection of open events reachable from Holland: of course there are many more events around the world, especially in UK and France). A provisional calendar has been prepared for 2005.

Handicaps: the fireball handicap under the UK/RYA Portsmouth Yardstick scheme is currently 982 (last updated in 2003 from 984). This is occasionally updated in the RYA Portsmouth Yardstick Table. Under the dutch KNWV handicapping scheme, the "SW Cijfer" for the fireball is currently 102. See the KNWV SW Cijfers page.
