Looking back from the North Wall Parapet (Travis' Defended Post)
It all started with a 5'x7' piece of plywood. And from here it just started to get out of hand. Materials used were: Balso Wood all shapes and sizes, Plaster, Screen, Elmers Glue, regular white and wood, Lifelike Earth Materials and I even went as far as getting my hands on actual rocks from the Real Alamo Compound and crushing them down to dust and mixing them with the Plaster to place on my Diorama. I don't think I need to explain why? The avid Alamo Historian will know why. and numerous figures from countless Companies. HO scale 1/72. I had read many Books on the subject of "The Battle Of The Alamo" and found them all to be a bit misleading. But I believe I have made a very close facsimile of what the actual Fortress looked like.

I covered the entire surface of the Board with Black screen. Then covered the Black screen with Plaster making holes here and there for small hills and Tree mounds. Then cut out a Trench from inside and all the way around the front of the fort to the rear of the Cattle pin for the Irrigation water to flow through.
I then built the Chapel with a collapsed roof, and left the debri in it. Shavings from the Balso wood left a real good impression of a collapsed roof.
The Cattle Corral wall was attached to the Chapel adding a wonderful effect.
