Youth Orchestra
is holding auditions for additional brass, woodwinds, percussion and strings
on October 5, 2006 or by appointment after this date,

between 5pm to 9:30pm at:

Requirements:  

-- Scales up to 4 sharps and 4 flats, one or two octaves -- Chromatics for those scales -- Scales and Chromatics are played in even 8th notes          at metronomic speed of quarter note = 72 -- Intonation and rhythm -- Bring any solo piece with 2 copies showing off your abilities -- Sight-reading -- 7th grade and above can audition -- Non-refundable Audition Fee is $20.00 cash or check made out to:         Washington Pro Musica

Two concerts are scheduled - One this Fall 2006 and one in Spring 2007.
Rehearsals for each concert are on Thursday evenings from 7pm to 8:45pm.

All rehearsals and concerts are at Cedar Lane Unitarian Church.
Tuition for each semester is $225 or for the complete season is $450.
