About the AAC

The Adirondack Actuaries Club

The Adirondack Actuaries Club was officially organized May 18, 1982 and incorporated January 5, 1983.  It is primarily comprised of Actuaries in the geographic area of Upstate New York, Massachusetts, Vermont and Connecticut.  The AAC has held an Annual Meeting each spring since 1982.  The Club's fall dinner meeting was first held in 1984.   This meeting is more of a social meeting and has included A Murder Mystery, Mensa, Alan Chartock, a Magician, Let Us Entertain Us and a SUNY Professor of Business.  The AAC gives a scholarship to a deserving college student who shows promise in the field of actuarial science.  The Club also provides intensive seminars for those studying for the Society of Actuaries examinations.
