Adirondack Actuaries Club

Meetings

The Adirondack Actuaries Club has two meetings per year:

  • Spring Meeting:  A professional meeting held in early June.  This all-day meeting combines professional actuarial sessions with the annual business meeting of the club.  The luncheon speaker is usually the President of one of the Actuarial Societies.  Meeting topics cover pensions, life and health insurance, group benefits and casualty topics.

  • Fall Meeting: Held in October, this meeting has been a luncheon meeting since 2000.  The luncheons have been of a more professional nature, whereas it had previously been a dinner meeting for members and friends.  Topics covered had previously been of a non-professional nature.   In the past, topics have included magic, a murder mystery, mensa, and a talent performance by Club Members.
