The Fall Meeting of the Adirondack Actuaries Club was held Tuesday, October 9, 2001 at the Italian American Community Center, Albany.     

Spring Meeting - June 18, 2001

The Marriott Hotel in Albany was the scene of the the Spring, 2001 meeting of the Adirondack Actuaries Club.  The club presented the American Academy of Actuaries' President Larry Johansen with an award for exemplary service to the profession at its June 18 spring meeting.  The award, which is new in 2001, is designed to recognize members' outstanding contributions to the actuarial profession.  "Larry was the ideal choice for this award given the tremendous amount of volunteer work he has done in his various roles with the Academy," said Club President Barry Bablin, who made the presentation.
