The sons, daughters, grandsons, granddaughters, adopted sons or daughters, stepsons, or stepdaughters, and orphans of Master Masons in good standing.

Students must maintain a full-time status (a minimum of 12 credit hours.)

Regrettably, all qualified applicants can not receive a scholarship. Selection will be based on such criteria as financial need, leadership, moral character, community service and evidence of academic achievement.

It is our desire to aid as many students as possible therefore, we will give priority to those who are first or second time appliers. Except in extraordinary circumstances, an individual student will not receive more than two years of scholarship support.

For more details on Eligibility, qualifications & procedures, go to QUALIFICATIONS.

How do you Apply ?

Express your interest to your father or grandfather who is a Master Mason in good standing.  (If your father is deceased, please inform us.)  Your father or grandfather will be your sponsor.  Your sponsor may obtain a scholarship application form from his Masonic Lodge.  Applications will be available in mid January.

Study the list of colleges and universities on the back of this brochure to determine if your choice of institution of higher learning is a recognized school for a scholarship.

Note that the scholarship must be applied toward your baccalaureate education at an Indiana College or University.

Take your time, be accurate, neat and PRINT or TYPE all statements except signatures. It is important to provide complete information.

A High School transcript is required with each application, even if you have applied in a previous year. If you are now in college, also attach your most recent college transcript.

The Financial Statement should reflect the  parent's financial information (in addition to  that of the applicant) even if the student is  married or is financially independent of his/her parents.

If you believe additional information is necessary, do not hesitate to attach a statement to the application.
Section VII of the application requests information relative to your reasons for applying and, if accepted, what you plan to do with your scholarship. We are very interested in you and your future. Please be frank with your comments.

For more details on Eligibility, qualifications & procedures, go to QUALIFICATIONS.
