How did Bolton Against Racism start?
  People from a range of political parties, voluntary groups, trade unions, residents associations, faith communities and concerned individuals came together on 3rd July 2003 in response to an article in the Bolton Evening News the previous Saturday that the British National Party (BNP) was trying to recruit members in the Tonge area of Bolton.
What do we believe?
  The group decided to call itself 'Bolton Against Racism' and it aims to bring people of Bolton together.

We have adopted the following statement;
"There is no place for racism or racist organisations here in Bolton.
We are proud to be associated with a town which has a strong history of racial harmony and respect for one another.
We value the contributions that our different communities make to the cultural and economic prosperity of our town."
The next meeting of Bolton Against Racism will be at 6.00pm on Thursday 10 April
at the Friends Meeting House, Silverwell Street, Bolton  - ALL SUPPORTERS WELCOME
