I live in Moscow, ID with 5 cats and my husband, David. I started doing beadwork about 9 years ago after taking a class from Moscow artist Jeanne Leffingwell. I have had as teachers Rainey King, Kristi Daniel, Red Ventling, Ava Farrington, Ava Lassiter, and all those who have put up web pages to share and those who have looked at my work and critiqued it.
In my former life I was a researcher in foods and nutrition at the University of Idaho. My final fling before taking a disability retirement, was a stint in Egypt where I did a survey of the village breads from el Alemain in the north to Aswan in the south. I met wonderful people and wished to be able to return to Egypt some day.
