for  Bobbin Bay  use
Wind the end of the bobbin thread on the bobbin and secure under thumb. With thumb on the underside of the bobbin, insert bobbin into the bay hole until it is completely inside.

Thread colors are visible when bobbins are in the bays. Bobbins are held securely when placed properly. Excessive shaking upside down will loosen the bobbins.

Bobbin Bay cuts easily with scissors for a customized size. Cut evenly down the center between the bay holes. A utility knife and straight edge may also be used. (see bottom of the page)

Bobbin Bay is made of a soft flexible foam allowing you to have fun creating your own personalized holder to fit your own needs. The Bobbin Bay is best glued using a hot glue gun.

Bobbin Bay is thin enough to fit easily inside drawers, carrying bags, or sewing kits. Cutting it into sections or using individual Bobbin Bays eliminates confusing your different types of threads.

Cutting with a utility knife
A
When using a utility knife and a sturdy straightedge,
start a small cut into the top of the foam along the straightedge.
B
After making the small initial cut, drag the knife about half way through the thickness of the foam down the entire length. Keeping the straightedge in place, start at the top and drage the knife through the rest of the thickness of foam to complete the cut. Make sure the knife blade is extended long enough.
Always use a sharp blade.
