I received some e-mail inquiries about this unique vehicle recently, so I put together
my old photos for a history tour. I sold it in 1994 and havn't seen it since 1995.
1. I bought this in early 80's in rough bodywork where it was shortened in middle of doors.
Finally, after sitting around for 4 years, I did some bodywork and it looked a tad better!
The '57 was bought by a buddy of mine back then, he owned it a short time. EVEN SHORTER!
SUPERSHORT
2. After several more years driving & attending shows
in primer, it finally received paint. Then drove it
alot!
3. A new 'look' 3 yrs later. (mid red) late 80's 4. Another new 'look' another 3 yrs later. (teal) 1992
DETAILS: This was a high school project.
I don't remember if the guy I bought it from was a participant.
When I got it the body was in roughed-in shape yet. It was
shortened by putting front half of front door
together with back half of rear door. Frame altered to match.
Sports wagon - 2 seater.
