Sunday evening I went to bed not feeling any different than any other night. At 2:30am I woke up in bed laying in blood. Once I stood up, I continued to pass 2 large size clots. After receiving a trip to Albany Medical Center, we quickly found out by ultrasound that all the babies were ok and that they were not under any stress. We were relieved! Later that day, it was determined that it was a touch of placenta separation as one of the babies was laying low near the cervix. I went home later that day with orders to go on a modified schedule. We have been plagued with this memory and have since been vigilant in making sure I do not exert myself in any way.
