This site has been called Karma since 1999, but it has grown to be so much more. Yes, my thoughts on karma are here and are an underlying influence on every page, but if your beliefs differ, you will simply see these pages in the light of your own philosophy. Here is a way of thinking and believing that brings comfort and understanding. Knowing about karma, you will find that it does not contradict any beliefs that you already hold, but only enhances them and gives you greater understanding of why things are the way they are. When you know there is a reason for heartaches it won't make them any less painful, but it will mitigate feelings of despair and hopelessness. This is a practical philosophy that is based on free will. Happy serendipity to you, my fellow traveler, and may you enjoy your visit to my island of tranquility!
