For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, and no where is this more true than with karma! Every day we are creating and shaping karma while at the very same time we are experiencing the results of the karma we have previously created. It is not necessary to believe in reincarnation in order to understand karma. Most of the impact of karma is experienced during the same life in which it was created. We shape our destiny by the choices we make. By incorporating an understanding of past lives, we are better able to make positive decisions.  If we accept that the repercussions of our behaviors do not end at death, we develop a longer range perspective. Just as we become that which we love, we also become that which we hate. Be gentle. God answers all prayers. Sometimes He just says "No." When the student is ready... the teacher will appear.
