Donald:   Thanks for the photos. I did not recognize all of them, but made prints of the ones I did. I am Lynell[Bobbye] one of the eight kids of Andy & Luvenia Hicks. George Daw was my grandfather. We moved to Shreveport in 1948, the year I finished school. I remember you all lived just up from the Stennet Lane.I remember you but would probably remember your older siblings best. Four of us are still living. Curtis passed away in 1990. Glad to hear from you and thanks again. --Lynell
I have been selective in sending these to those I thought might be interested. Some of the older siblings may know some of the persons in the photos. My personal knowledge was with the Joe Robbins family who lived a short distance from us on or near what we called the Mauldin place. We lived on the Davis place from 1947-53. George Daw was our bus driver until we moved to the Harlan place on Hwy 175. I am getting correspondence from fine folks who refer to George and Mary Daw as their Aunt and Uncle and/or grandparents. This is really great! More later.I suggest that if you have someone who would be interested send the link to them and also have them to contact me for more information and interaction. I really appreciate the two new correspondents' names. One sent to me by Nelda and one by the person she referred. -- rankinotes
