Food, Fun, and Finding God's Will Is Prevalent At The Lighthouse
The monthly men's meeting was made more joyful on March 24 with the invitation of the ladies and children. Our hearts were enriched by the Bible message brought to us by Larry. (fourth photo below) The message could not have been more timely. Larry exhorted the group to get in the word daily and commune with our Lord and Savior each day and make it a part of our routine. "Church attendance alone won't give us what we need", said Larry, "Neither will attending Sunday school nor church services." Larry went on to say that our daily lives need to have a time to be alone with God and establish a personal relationship with Him. Following the breakfast meeting leaders of the church discussed the needs of the youth and plans for vacation Bible school and a host of other priorities. We are grateful for the pastor's leadership and that of the staff, teachers, and children's workers.

What a great time Seniors have at The Pentecostals on Meriwether Road! CLICK for Pastor Kent

Seniors get special treatment at our caring churches. Food was prepared by the non-senior church members and brought to the church. Seniors were honored with a special table and were served by the younger people. One of the young ladies, Janet, co-ordinated the festive meeting. This treat occurred on May 1. This place card was so impressive I asked for it as a logo for our senior page.Thank you for your thoughtfulness, Meriwether UPC!
