"Pass It On:"Give a Teddy Bear Today"



                                   Reasons Behind the Project

 In Fort Worth, Texas, "Teddy Bears" are donated to our local police officers  and "Teddy Bears" are given to children to help them cope during  stressful events.  I thought it would be a great "Pass it On" activity to expand this program worldwide and let students, parents, churches, clubs and  anyone who will take a little time for this project to buy a "Teddy Bear" and donate  it to "needy children" at orphanages, shelters, hospitals, schools, and other institutions that could disperse the"Teddy" to a child in need.
 
  Churches, school and other organization are invited to participate, but one individual can make a difference.



How This Project Works

 Adopt one of the institutions in or near your hometown.  Ask for "Teddy Bear" sponsors or better yet, make it a school project where your student(s) bring a "Teddy for Adoption"

As a group, visit your local organiztions and give out the Teddy Bears to one of the institutions listed below:

"Pass it On" should multiply the number individuals via email willing to celebrate in this event.  Please email or write to me to let me know how you "Passed It On" to a needy child or a group of children in any children's home, hospitals, homeless shelters and other organizations such as the Mental Heath and Retardation Service in your community.  A "Random Act of Kindness" will make you feel wonderful.
