This is one of my favorites. I was hiking in the Cowiche Canyon Conservancy Trail and this little guy posed for me.

I ran over him with my Jeep, backed up, and he hissed and possed for me. I never got out of my Jeep for this one.

This was in January 2001. If found this female coyote in a trap. At this time trapping was still legal and there was nothing I could do to help.
