Management changes plus contract commitments have hampered any attempts this year for Steve Preston to appear in the States .Hopefully the way will shortly be clear for his American debut in 2004.
December 2003 Steve is booked to appear for 19 nights at the Best Western Parkway Hotel in Newport Wales and in 2004 Steve will be recording some tracks for a new C D, leaving the way for a long awaited series of shows with Florida pencilled in for a distinct possibility.
Steve would like to thank the American fans for their patience and as he says in his interview in the book “Elvis Lives” that he felt that America is THE place to perform an Elvis tribute show.
His new management are very positive about performing in the States and if the shows are half as good as what the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Malta look, then we are all in for a real treat.
Only this month Steve was cemented as the U K‘s no1 Elvis performer listed on (achievements and prestigious venues performed) and at no 2 and 3 are Americans living and working in the U K. The U K chart is shortly to be published on the internet as The UK’s Top Elvis Impersonators and is seen to be a better indication of ability to perform at the highest level then our regular U S A Elvis competitions, which are judged by a panel of so called experts.
As for his U K fans who often visit this site information just in is that Steve will be making a brief T V appearance singing "In the Ghetto" for a new show that is being aired every night in the U K from now till Christmas called "I’m the Answer". Finally you can now access Steve’s official site using www.stevepreston.com as well as the usual www.elvistribute.org
Also, please dont forget to keep an eye on "Steve's" American websites as you may never know what you may see there. We are all very excited with the upcoming year & all the events planned, especially "Steve" making his Very First American Debut. This will be a performance not to be missed by anyone.
