Lie Feng Tao-ren was born in Northern California Bay Area, he started his kungfu training at the age of eight under a Taoist master Lu Long Tao-ren of the Pei Chi Pai. In the fifteen years of study under Lu Long he became a master and lineage holder of Long Long Hsing Pai, a twenty five hundred year old secret family style.

With the same master Lie Feng Tao-ren also began to study Yang style Tai Chi Chuan, and became a qualified Tai Chi Chuan instructor in 1993 after ten years of study.
|

|
|
When Lie Feng turned fifteen years old, Lu Long Tao-ren asked him to become his disciple. Lie Feng took the title of Jushi, and became the first American to be accepted in a secret society of Taoists called the “Golden Circle”. Two years later Lie Feng began his training in the rare Taoist kungfu style of Pei Chi Pai Michuan.

At the age of sixteen, Lie Feng fought in his first Chinese boxing match. Following this match Lie Feng went on to fight seven more matches being the only undefeated boxer in the history of the “Golden Circle”, earning himself the respected name Lie Feng (Fierce Wind).

In 1993 Lie Feng was summond by his teacher Lu Long to take his final test. After a grueling twenty-four hours Lie Feng passed his test and received his teaching credentials. Later that day Lie Feng was invited to the local “Golden Circle Temple” to be initiated as a Taoshi in the Pei Chi Pai - Temple guard sect as Lie Feng Tao-ren.

Lie Feng Tao-ren also studied other styles such as American Golden Gloves Boxing, Tai Kwan Do, Ed Parker Kempo Karate (Parker Lineken), Chen Tai Chi Chian, PauKwa and Shaolin Boxing from an ex-Shaolin Priest – Laughing Spring.

Lie Feng Tao-ren is currently residing in San Diego California, dedicated to teaching authentic Chinese kungfu and the Taoist Cultivation arts.
