Once, there was nothing man could measure time with and the universe was in chaos. Heaven and Earth, one in its loneliness, existed with no sun, no moon and the whole was a blur, which was in the form of an egg. The “Essence of the Universe” (Pangu) separated the earth from the heavens by being the great Jade Capital Mount, drinking water from the fountain below on earth and breathing celestial air up in the heavens.
Finding the "Primordial Saint” (Jade Lady) the two (Heaven and Earth) joined and later gave birth to the universal truth and King of the Heavens. All of the Ten thousand things (anything/everything known to man) arose to be, but the light shined too bright and the Gods and humans were forced to separate.

From this time the Gods have helped man, but not in the ways that man would prefer. Majority of mankind started scorning the Gods with foul tongues, with very few remaining true. Through time, Heaven and all the ten thousand living things have forgotten many families, now lost due to changing their ways and forgetting their pasts.  One of these families in particularly is of the surname “Lu”, which received their name from one of the great Ch’ing Earth Dragons. The Great Dragon with the surname of Green (Lu). The same Dragon that once was a part of the family without a name and cast away with time. Time is the essence of the universe, and the Green Dragon knew that he would once again regain his family. Falling asleep the Dragon became a small valley and over time the valley became a sanctuary for a group of people with no surname. They became great farmers due to the richness of the Dragon soil. Many barbarians over time became to know the richness of their crops and the families became wary of their own existence.

A man with no surname had a dream. In this dream the Great Ching Long with the name of Lu came to him. Without hesitation the man knew that he had discovered his ancestor and received teachings of the way of the Lu Long (Green Dragon). The man with no surname knew his name now, and realized how he had cultivated great crops. From this time on, thanks to the teachings of the great Ch’ing Long, the man with a surname of Lu was able to protect his land and family and live a long harmonious cultivated life, much like his crops. In a dream the Great Ch’ing Dragon made a special tea out of the great pearl of immortality for ancestor Lu. Knowing it was a gift, he awoke and drank it out of a fresh spring that came from a rock underneath his house, which was once the Ch’ing Dragons heart.
  
The very same day ancestor Lu married a local village girl and they had three children, one appearing to be special. This child was named Long (Dragon). He was born in the Year and the hour of the Dragon, and the old man with the surname of Lu, knew it was the Great Ch’ing Dragon reincarnate.

The Great Ch’ing Dragons spirit would teach his reincarnate soul the powers and ways of the Dragon through special dreams throughout his life. The dreams would only stop when the Dragon deemed that there were no more lessons to be taught. From this day on until the Cultural Revolution the Lu family had a child of every third generation, all of the year and time of the Dragon, solely for the Dragon to reappear and share its gifts of knowledge.   It was taught by Lu Long Shifu that the Dragon has been asleep for many years after the Cultural Revolution began, only to be awaken in a new country called America.
