Chinook (King) Salmon - Available mid May through July.

Sockeye (Red) Salmon - Probably the most popular as "table fare", this battler gives 110% every time.  Available mid July through early August.

Humpback (Pink) Salmon - Commonly referred to as the "Humpy."  This slab sided fellow is best known for his willingness to strike practically anything tossed in front of him.  Great sport on light tackle, they are available in August on the Kenai River during even numbered years.

Coho (Silver) Salmon - These "silver bullets" are rated highly for their fighting ability because of their aerial displays as they tailwalk across the surface of the water.  It is not uncommon to hook into these acrobats weighing over 20 pounds.  Available August through September.

Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden (Char) - Available throughout the summer.  Trophy sized "Dollies" of 8-10 pounds and Rainbows weighing over 20 pounds have come from the Kenai River.

NEW for 2002 - 2nd Run of Reds Only!

We are going to allot cabins in blocks of time.  This will enable us to maximize reservations and simplify billing.  Here is how it will work.

1rst Block of Time - Arrive on or before NOON JULY 13TH.  Departure (vacating cabin) must be by 10 AM SAT. JULY 20TH.

2nd Block of Time - NOON JULY 20TH until 10 AM JULY 27TH.

3rd Block of Time - NOON JULY 27TH until 10 AM AUG. 3RD.

These are the *minimum* time blocks for these dates.  If you would like to reserve more than one block of time, you may; however, it may not be for less than 2 full blocks (i.e. 14 days minimum).  After 10am Aug. 3rd, unlimited time available at daily cabin rate.

R.V. Space - $50.00 per day. The above rules apply. If you elect to leave early, you may; however, there will be no prorating.  You pay for the time you reserved.  This is necessary to keep rates equitable between the two user groups ~ cabin guests and RV guests.  The rate entitles two anglers from each RV to fish.  Each additional angler will be charged $20.00 per day.

We are not alloting time blocks for R.V. spaces for the 2nd run of Reds at this time.

Walk-in Anglers - $20.00 per person per day.  (Sales Tax applicable.)

Camp Rules and Regulations

Pets - Because of two incidents during the 2001season - one a reservation in which a large agressive dog was brought to camp unbeknownst to management and the other which involved a "walk-in" observer with an unrestrained Rotweiler - pets will not be allowed EXCEPT by possible prior arrangement between management and potential guests.  It will be on a case by case basis and not without our prior knowledge.

Fish Limits - We ask that you observe the Fish Limit Regulation set by Alaska Fish and Game Dept.  If not, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the premises and forfeit the cost of your reserved space(s).
