My pregnancy with Gavin was pretty easy. Here I am at almost 8 months.

The contractions hadn't started yet in this shot. The prostaglandin suppository didn't work, so they soon broke my water. That kicked it into high gear immediately.

The hurting was coming on like gangbusters by this point. Nothing had prepared me for what it was going to feel like, despite my research. Lamaze was too hard to focus on and I quickly abondoned the effort.

After four hours of hard labor, I begged for relief. First they gave me Nubain, which didn't do much for me. Then they gave me an epidural, which I thought was heaven. (Until it stopped my labor.)
