Third Generation (Grandchildren)
8. Hannah Johnson was born about 1735 and died in 1803 in Harrison County, Virginia (Now West Virginia).
Hannah married Jacob Jacobs on 28 Jan 1761 in Mammouth County, New Jersey.
General Notes:Jacob had a saw mill in Mammouth County, New Jersey. In 1761 bought land on Toms River on east side of Doctors Long Swamp. In 1770 Jacob signed a demand note to Elizabeth Jolliffe for 46 pounds, the note was recorded in Mongolia County District Court in 1792. In 1782 Jacob is listed in the tax records of Mongolia County with a household of nine persons. In 1787, he obtained a Virginia land grant on Deckers Creek for 250 acres, 210 of which he indentured to Abraham Gooseman in 1798. In 1791, Jacob obtained land grants for two adjacent properties of 88 and 270 acres of Tevebaugh Creek (now Marion County), which he sold in 1795 to Amos Jolliffe of Frederick County. Jacob is only listed once in the Harrison County tax list in 1802, the year before his death. His will was written in Harrison County March 3, 1803. Migrated from New Jersey via Shenandoah Valley to West Virginia. Jacob and his wife Hannah became members of the Forks of Cheat Baptist Church by baptism: she in 1781 and he on January 3, 1782. In 1802, Hannah Jacobs was given a letter of dismission form the church to any other church of like faith.

General Notes:William was an Inn Keeper in Toms River, he was in the Revolutionary War from 1777-1779. William was in the following battles during 1777-1779 Battle of Monmouth, Battle of White Plains and Battle of Brandywine. He was also taken prisioner.
William married Elizabeth Longstreet.
