IN LOVING MEMORY
MY HUSBAND LARRY LAVURN
Feb. 12, 1961 - Sept. 2, 1999
TO MY HUSBAND LAVURN SIMMONS

I remember when we first met; we were
scheduled to meet for lunch;
I arrived very late and thought you'd just leave
But you didn't

When we were dating it was a struggle for us to be
together because of our schedules.  I thought you'd
stop seeing me
But you didin't

We were married within ten months and moved into
your home.    Together we took on the task of living and
loving each day and each other.  There were so many
more memories for us to make once you came home
from the hospital
But you didn't

Thank you Larry for loving me so much, and for receiving
my love in return.  The memories we have can't be taken
away, only the shock and grief will soon pass, leaving you behind.
As our new journey begins, please keep me in your heart
because that's right where you are.
I love you.

TO BE WITH YOU AGAIN
We think of you in silence.
And often speak your name.
But all that's left to answer
Is your picture in a frame.
If we could have one lifetime wish,
One dream that would come true,
We would pray to God with all our hearts,
For yesterday and you.
If tears could build a stairway,
And heartaches make a lane,
We would walk our way to Heaven
To Be With You Again!

A Million Times
A million times we've needed you,
A million times we've cried.
If love alone could've saved you,
You would have never died.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still.
In our hearts you hold a place,
No one else could ever fill.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone.
Part of us went with you,
The day God took you home.
