Let me start off by saying that Mark Tremonti is sweeter and sexier in person than I could have imagined.
With that out of the way, yes, I did meet Tremo in the flesh (tho' not as much flesh as I'd like) thanks to PRS Guitars. I did not get there as early as I would have liked (hey, it was Saturday) there was quite a good showing of Creed Pitters. I even managed to freak out Erin, knowing her from photos on the Pit but her having no idea who I was. Priceless!
Anyhow, I thought I was going to get cut off within feet from the door, but Tremo being the sweetheart he is, stayed around for an extra hour and got everyone signed. I didn't have a convo for the records by any means, getting all shy and quiet instead (someone just smack me) and getting an autograph and lovely picture. (And yes, Corryn, I am still functioning. LOL) I even got a little surprise personalized poster for my girls Tracey and Stef. Told ya I was on a mission!
It was a wonderful day. Turns out Mark's brother Dan was there too, keeping Mark up to date on the Cubs game (but was he cheering for the Cubs or the Marlins? hmmmm). And speaking of Dan, my day got twice as nice when I spotted none other than Dan Donegan from Disturbed hanging out in the shop! Thanks for letting me "bother" ya babe...luv ya! (Now had it been David Draiman, I may have had to drag him off the the back room, but I digress...)
Back to my original comments...Mark's eyes, his smile, his deep, soft voice....oh damn, I'm sitting fences again. Sorry Stapp!
