We have now gone wireless! If you have a laptop that has a wireless card you may come into the library and link up!

The Johnson County Public Library's "Highland Information Hot Spot" project will use the flexibility of wireless computer networking technology and laptop computers to create a flexible traing environment to deliver greater opportunities for direct access to information resources and information literacy training for businesses, educational institutions, and individuals living and working in the county. This project has been made available through the Library Services and Technology Act Subgrant.
If you are a business, educational institution or someone who is simply interested in our program, please contact the library or stop by for more information.

A heirloom seed trade has started. Our policy that we ask you to sign goes as follows:
I am a patron of the Johnson County Public Library and understand , in order to particpate in the Heirloom See Exchange and have no sees at the present time, I am allowed two varieties. If I have different varieties of heirloom seed, I may exchange seed varity for seed varity. I also understand that if I take seeds and have none to exchange, it will be my obligation to reimburse the Heirloom Seed Exchange at the end of the growing season.

*Every 2nd Monday of the month is Johnson County Public Library Board Meeting at 4PM.
*Every 3rd Thursday of the month, Grandparent/Kinship Support Group
*1st Thursday of each month at 6PM- Investment Group
*1st Saturday of every quarter is the Johnson County Historical Society at 10 AM
*Every third Thursday of the month at 6:30 PM is our monthly Booktalk
