Can you see the wildflowers swaying in the breeze
And know they bloom in grandeur just for you,
Have you seen a sparrow for the first time try its wings
And sensed the thrill of the young one flying anew.

Did you notice the butterfly fluttering your way
In the early morning mist, that touched your face,
Could your mind retain such artistic wonder
Surely, it caused your step to slow its pace.

Have you seen the petals of a rose drift to the ground
Know in its dying that it is preparing life for another bloom,
See the trees in the woods bending their branches
To give another one, less majestic, more room.

Can you see the splendor that surrounds you each day
Do you add to it with your own unique beauty and style,
The beauty and wonders are here for only you
Can you challenge the frowns you see, with a smile.
