Beaver Creek R.R. Construction Photo's The elevated section of the railroad is constructed with pressure treated wood which has been stained with a sealer. The posts are set in concrete to prevent them from shifting. One three-foot section is made to easily lift out for access to the pool. The track is fastened to the crosspieces. The track on grade is set on a trench filled with fine stone screenings. The screenings used as ballast hold the track in place.
