One advantage of restoring an Eclat is its fiberglass body, you dont have loads of rust to sort out. The later Eclats have a galvanised chassis, so rust here is not a problem. My Eclat has the ealier painted steel chassis, but it had only surface rust which was easy to sort. (the car was sold from new in Ireland where salting the roads in icy weather is a fairly new phenomenon)
