A deliberate and man-made calamity has struck our nation.  This attack was unprovoked
and neither our people nor our country deserved to go through this disaster.

The Kurdish Community Center of California strongly and vigorously denounces this
inhumane and evil action against our fellow Americans in New York and Washington.  As
Americans, we mourn the loss of precious lives lost needlessly by the hands of 
democracy haters and devious individuals or groups.  This was an attack upon all of us in
this blessed nation and we stand strong and united behind our President and support
whatever action deemed necessary and appropriate.

As Kurds, we are once again reminded of the thousands of lives lost unjustly by the hands of
terrorist and gutless governments, in particular the government of Iraq.

We sincerely understand the degree of this horrible, sly crime, and we pray to our Lord to
bless those who lost their lives.  We pray to God to gives strength to the victims’ survivors
and we ask our government to bring the attackers and their accomplices to justice.

American Kurds in Southern California stand ready to help our fellow citizens and this
glorious nation in any way, shape or form possible.

May God bless America, and all of us Americans.
