Theatrical Group Welcomed in Sulaimani

The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government , Dr. Barham Salih welcomed
the theatre group from Hawler(Arbil), headed by the well-known actor,  Ahmad Salar , who
have given several performances of a play in Sulaimani about the life of the illustrious
Kurdish  poet of Halabja aristocracy, Ahmad Mukhtar Beg Jaff. Dr. Salih urged all
members of performing arts to create and produce original works and participate in the peace
efforts and ending all internal clashes and the tragedies of the people of Kurdistan. He hoped
that the successful visit of the theatrical group is the positive omen and example for the
peace process in its final stages to consolidate brotherhood and tranquility in Kurdistan. He
described their efforts as those of "doves of peace".
