September 14, 2001 

The Kurdish Cultural Center of North America (KCC), strongly condemns the evil acts of
terrorism on Tuesday, September 11, 2001 on the World Trade Center in New York and
Pentagon in Washington DC.   This attack was not only targeted on America but it was an
attack on all Free world and Democratic nations.  We join with the rest of Americans to offer
our condolences and prayers to the families and friends of the victims.

We, as Kurdish-Americans strongly support the US government efforts to identify these
terrorist individuals and bring them to justice.   Many indications leads to the terrorist, Osma
bin Laden as a primary suspect but we also want to remind the public to not forget about the
involvements of Saddam Hussein who supports most of the terrorist groups in Middle-East
whom oppose US and Americans by giving them space, financial and military support. 
Saddam Hussein’s media continuously rally the public opinon in the Middle East against
America and American people and encourage the people to rise and act against American 
interest in the world.

At the same time, KCC urge people in America to not rush to judgment and stay calm.   This
is the time for national unity, understanding and giving hands to families of victims.  Let’s
act like Americans as freedom loving people and led the free world to victory.
