A Rocket Attack At A U.N. Station In Zakho

( The Kurdistan Observer) Oct 19, 2001. A U.N. headquarter in Zakho responsible for
distribution of food in accordance with  U.N. Resolution 986 was attacked Thursday by
rockets from a nearby location, reported sources from Duhok in Southern Kurdistan.

Two guards were injured as the result of this attack.  

The KDP forces rushed to the scene to investigate this incident.  This type of attack is 
unprecedented as all previous aggressions toward U.N. personnel have been in the form of
planting small explosives.
