Kurdish Security Force Detains A UN Employee

The security force of Kurdistan Regional Government, Asayish, has detained 
a UN employee who entered Iraqi Kurdistan in a car loaded with explosives, 
reported the London-based daily Arabic newspaper, AL Hayat today.

An informed Kurdish source who contacted the Kurdistan Observer confirmed the 
incident and said an investigation is taking place.  The detainee, who is a 
Tunisian national working for the UN in Baghdad, is now being questioned by 
the KDP.  The KDP has refused to hand over the driver (detainee) to the UN 
officials.

The KDP officials have not publically commented on the incident yet.
