A bomb explosion In Erbil

(The Kurdistan Observer) Oct 23, 2001. Gulan, a KDP publication, reported today that 
a bomb exploded in Erbil yesterday. The Security forces who were on the site said that 
the explosion was a fake bomb caused only a enormous sound. 

However, some other Kurdish sources in Kurdistan suggested that TNT was placed in 
a mortar shell at Halabja Shahid street in Erbil. No human casualties were reported as the
result of this bomb.
