The terror of “ Jund al-Islam!”
Osama Bin Laden’s global campaign reaches Iraqi Kurdistan!

Perverted in their interpretation of Islam, a group of outlaws have been claiming control of
the Halabja area for a quite few years with the explicit support from hard-line Mullahs from
Iran, Afghanistan, and other countries. They literally take what has been attributed to
prophet Mohammad during the period of the establishment of Islam in the 7th century where
invasion, force, wars were used by Islamite of that time to spread the new religion, although
prophet Mohammad has said a lot of good things just about every thing, those falsely
claiming to be “ the soldiers of Islam” had, apparently chosen the words attributed, truly of
not, that were said in time of wars among the new religion and the opposing tribes and forces
of Arabia and elsewhere where crushing and bloody battles were fought not only for the sake
of the new religion but also in enforcing the views of conflicting and often with bloody and
disastrous results among different sects of Islam that is really the result of tribal animosities
and the fierce compaction for power.

Like Christianity, Judaism and other religions, Islam has moderates and extremists and of
course those people who chose not to practice and they should be fully respected.
But the extremist’s goals are as follows:
1- Force their interpretation of religion by force and throat-slashing measures down the
throat of all other people.
2- The use of outrageous and savage methods to drive their message.
3- Drive fear into the general public.
4- imposes an Islamite state in the whole Muslim world.
5- Bring back the most strange and backward rules and system of government whereby all
opposing views and or other people of faith and people who believe in secular values must
be liquidated in public.
6- Outlaw other religious practices, even if they are Islamic, let alone the practices of other
religions, of which they call (infidels) and call for their elimination!
7- Savage program to deprive women, girls from schooling, work with completes
deprivation of their human rights.
8- The Kurdish (Jund al-Islam) has issued an edict (Fatwa) calling for the murder of all
leaders of other political parties in Iraqi Kurdistan (PUK), has committed such atrocities of
butchering tens of the Patriotic Union Of Kurdistan party in mid. September 2001 as they
were captured in an assault, has confessed to murdering for no reason the late top official in
Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) Mr. Franso Harreri in the city of Erbil in 2000, as they
claimed this was part of their sickly campaign to get rid of Non-Muslim elements in
Kurdistan, thus taking a line from the infamous leader of international hate and terror:
Osama Bin Laden!

The fact of the matter is that Iraqis, weather Muslims, Christians, Yazeedi, Mundaies, and
others reject in the strongest terms possible those outlaws and gangs and their dark ages
thugery and we, in iraqi papers lend our support to those heroes standing firm in the face of
this dangerous gang, send our sympathies to the family of victims, and our support to our
brave people in Iraqi Kurdistan to continue their noble effort to eradicate these savages from
their land and continue with reconciliation, building a society of human rights with
economic opportunity to all with improved standards of living, and to consolidate their
efforts to build a front of action with the rest of the Iraqi opposition to establish a peaceful,
democratic, constitutional regime in Iraq in which it would the best guarantee to safeguard
and assist our people in the north to live in peace, democracy, and security all Iraqis deserve!

It is important to mention here that those political parties and movements that are in the
opposition and have programs to establish an Islamic state in Iraq or Iraqi Kurdistan need to
state their positions very clearly with regards to future visions of the type of regime they seek
to establish as well as their positions in light of the foresaid massacres, since our people do
not want to replace a devil that they know with one that they don’t know as this also applies
to some secular forces as well!
