KRG Prime Minister Meets Turkey’s Former PM Cillar

The Kurdistan Regional Prime Minister Dr. Barham Salih met with Turkey’s former prime
minister and leader of the True Path Party( DYP), Tansu Ciller today. Dr. Salih conveyed
cordial greetings from the Kurdish leader Jalal Talabani to her, and his perspective on issues
of stability in the region, prospects for democracy, rule of law and his assessments of his
discussions during his recent visit to Washington and New York. On her part Mrs. Ciller
expressed her support for efforts to consolidate democracy and to achieve civil society, and
the continuation of friendship and bilateral relations.
