Morphing Demo Usage
Using the Morphing Demos
In this page, I present my morphing program (all rights reserved). But first, see the section below on how to use the program:
  • Select one of the morphs available in the list at the bottom of this page.
  • The screen consists of
    1. The starting image
    2. The end image
    3. The morph display area
  • The start and end images have to be "mapped" to each other using the grid on top of the images.
  • The default grid for the images (tuned by me to get a good morph) could be loaded by clicking on the "Default Grid" button for each image, or you could try pulling the grid around yourself and see how the morph comes out.
  • Specify the number of in-between frames to generate. If you specify too many, the program may take a long, long time to generate the morphed frames.
  • Once you're ready, click on the "Morph" button.  The program will take some time to generate the frames (you have to be patient there....it's slow old Java).
  • The animated morph will appear on the area below the start and end images.
  • When the internet connection is slow, note that the following steps might take some time to complete:
    • Loading the applet (the applet to load two images along with it)
    • Loading the "Default" grids (these grids are read from files at the server)
    • Generating the interpolated (morphed) images (already mentioned above)
OK...with that said, continue to my morphing demos..........
