My work deals with connections; connections implied, inherent, imagined, and actual between objects, ideology and materials.  In a very literal sense my work is centered on the idea of connection; nails, junctions, appliques, knots ... all form an integral part of each piece. Iconography and symbols from world myth provide me with an abundance of metphorical image to draw upon.  By taking disassociated images out of context, and using them in often eclectic combinations, my sculpture and drawings act as commentary on my environment.
