Ebb - Drums  (Ebb's Web Site)
Ebbert ( also known to friends as "Ebb") started playing drums at the early age of 3.  Practicing was somthing that  Ebb did ALL the TIME.  At 14, he began playing seriously.
His musical influences come from artist(s) like: Jonatha Brooke, Paul Simon, Peter Gabriel, Joni Mitchell, Sting, and from drummers & percussionists like Vinnie Colaiuta, Gary Novak, Jeff Porcaro, Matt Chamberlain, Abe Laboriel Jr., Alex Acuna, and Carlos Vega.
In 1997, he joined the group blacksheep choir. The group writes music that is influenced by artists such as Paul Simon, Peter Gabriel, Sting, and also David Byrne. Blacksheep choir will be releasing a CD around spring of 2004.
In spring of 2000 was a very positive direction in Ebb's life as a musician. As a musician/accompanyist for modern dance classes at Arizona State University & Scottsdale Community College.   New ideas and a different point of view, has expanded his music in new directions.

Ebb played with Haywire also known as the "All Earl Band" for KNIX's, "Tim & Willy."  He has has opened for and played with such artists as Charlie Daniels, Blake Shelton, Dixie Chicks, She Daisey, Aaron Tippon, Billy Dean, Sawyer Brown, Chris Ledoux, Tracy Lawrence, Blake Sheldon, Dierks Bentley, and many others!
MEL TRAVIS - Bass, Lead & Harmony Vocals
Mel has played with recording artists LEON EVERETTE  (9 Gold albums) and JOHNNY RODRIQUEZ.  Valley bands: ANTE-UP (early 1980's), BARELY LEGAL (early 1990's) who won Regional in the GMC Truck Talent Contest.
He spent 7 years in Nashville, TN.  He has opened for many country artists as well as played "The Road" for too many years. (LOL)
He was raised on Gospel music.  His influences are GEORGE JONES, MERLE HAGGARD, ALAN JACKSON and TRAVIS TRITT, to name a few.

QUOTE:   "You might as well have fun when you come see us, cause we're going to! "  and  "Let's have a HOLLER and SWOLLER!"
DOC - Keyboard & Vocals
Doc was born in Chicago.  At age 16, he was working in variety bands doing weddings and parties.  The experience of playing different styles helped to land a contract with a top 40 rock band doing late night, after hour clubs on Chicago's north side.
He moved to Phoenix in 1978 and worked in a rock band for several years.  Wanting to explore other avenues, he found the Tex-Mex flavor of the southwest intriging.  He joined a local group headed by recording artist CONNIE MORADO.  One of the highlights was opening for the Award winning group "LA MAFIA".
After several years, it was once again time to change.  Doc decided to try the country venue.  He worked with several local groups at bars and clubs in the Phoenix area.  He also had the opportunity to open for
FREDDIE FENDER'S TEXAS TORNADOS
and JERRY JEFF WALKER.
WILL BROWN - Guitar & Vocals
William Brown was born in Circleville, Ohio, June 21, 1960 and raised on his family's farm in the rolling hills of Ohio.  Will learned to play guitar and sing while sitting on the porch, playing the old country songs with his dad.
Will moved to Phoenix after finishing high school in 1978.  Within a few short years, he began to play the C&W club circuit.

After years of playing guitar, Will combined a smooth, melodic tone, with his love for traditional country, to create his own unique sound.  Will's distinctive sound has been heard in many groups in Phoenix, including
YOUNG COUNTRY
& JENNY LYNN & the MEN.

Will also worked as a soundman for several groups, which has helped to develop his understanding of music and equipment.
