DOC - Keyboard & Vocals
Doc
was born in Chicago. At age 16, he was working in variety bands
doing weddings and parties. The experience of playing different
styles helped to land a contract with a top 40 rock band doing late
night, after hour clubs on Chicago's north side.
He moved to Phoenix in 1978 and worked in a rock band for several
years. Wanting to explore other avenues, he found the Tex-Mex
flavor of the southwest intriging. He joined a local group headed
by recording artist CONNIE MORADO.
One of the highlights was opening for the Award winning group "LA MAFIA".
After
several years, it was once again time to change. Doc decided to
try the country venue. He worked with several local groups at
bars and clubs in the Phoenix area. He also had the opportunity
to open for
FREDDIE FENDER'S TEXAS TORNADOS
and JERRY
JEFF WALKER. |
WILL BROWN - Guitar & Vocals
William
Brown was born in Circleville, Ohio, June 21, 1960 and raised on his
family's farm in the rolling hills of Ohio. Will learned to play
guitar and sing while sitting on the porch, playing the old country
songs with his dad.
Will moved to Phoenix after finishing high
school in 1978. Within a few short years, he began to play the
C&W club circuit.
After years of playing guitar, Will combined a
smooth, melodic tone, with his love for traditional country, to create
his own unique sound. Will's distinctive sound has been heard in
many groups in Phoenix, including
YOUNG COUNTRY & JENNY LYNN & the MEN.
Will also worked as a soundman for several groups, which has helped to develop his understanding of music and equipment.
