Here's the scenario... you're heading home, or up to the cabin. The weather forecaster has just announced that the upcoming weekend is gonna bring a good 12+" of snow to your area of Minnesota & a BLIZZARD WARNING has been announced, along with it's partner, the dreaded Travel Advisory. You decide to stop by a bookstore & pick up a new, really great romance to read while everything gets buried in snow. When you get to the book store you find that EVERY romance author has a new book out this month- unlimited choice, but the store's closing early & you can't hang out & read all the cover blurbs. Gotta grab one book & go!
Finally, here's the question: Which author do you like so much that their new book is gonna be the one you're gonna take home? Why?

Hello.I would take Jayne Ann Krentz or Amanda Quick first. I would also take JD Robb or Nora Roberts and/or I would take Kay Hooper. I need to be able to take more than one if I'm going to be a week-end snowbound. LaurieLou

Anything by Susan Johnson, because she has very complex plots, well developed characters, & great endnotes. Betsie

Kathleen E. Woodiwiss. This is the author that got me hooked on romance. She "opened the door to the bedroom" with Flame & the Flower ~ what better way to heat up a cold weekend?! Bridget

Linda Howard... her books have a nice balance of humor and suspense, and they don't leave me exhausted and drained afterwards. I close the cover, and immediately reopen it to start again...Linda Howard leaves me wanting to go back and enjoy it all over. Mary B.
