Young William, aged 27, was a farmer.  Jane was 22 and a milliner.  William's uncle, Methodist Minister Rev Moses Bullas, officiated.

This item displays father's and son's signatures. 

It is likely that the other witness's signature is that of the groom's sister Anne, aged 29.

However, it is possible that the signature is his mother's.  If so, it would indicate that she had learnt to write since her own wedding day thirty-two years earlier, when she could only make her mark on the register.
