ASKIN' FOR IT 5.11

A line we first TR'd a few years ago, Askin' For It follows a beautiful (bolt protected!) flake up to a horizontal crack that leads straight to a blank headwall.  Both Sam (right) and Gary (left) had a go at leading this testpiece but couldn't quite pull it off...it still awaits a clean first ascent.  July 2001: Peter pulled off the FFA without too much dificulty.

MTW (Mighty, Tighty, Whitey) 5.11b

The new testpiece for the crag & for Salt Spring, MTW starts with steep .10b face climbing and then heads through two 5.11 roofs.  The shots above are of Peter on the FA, September, 2001

I gave it a go but my feet cut loose at the first roof and I caught some air...
