Ken on his new line Impacted Wisdom, a 5.10c established September, 2000. The base of Bayne's Peak is proving quite fruitful in terms of traditional new route development. Several 5.9's & 5.10's are staring us in the face just begging to be climbed: many in the 90'-100' range and fairly sustained. |

Maxwell's Nuckles is a small crag in the woods well below Bayne's Peak. This is the only major quarzite deposit on the island and has one bolted route: Holy Smoke, 5.9 which was my first bolted lead. This is a shot of me being spotted by Linda on the bouldery start. |
