THE LEGAL GENOME TM
A multi-disciplinary legal project for the 21st century.
VISION:The work of The Legal Genome Project is to discuss, research and evaluate in a multi-disciplinary way, those democratic institutions and the systems each employs that are designed to assure equal access, fairness, transparency, and accountability for any global citizen seeking justice in everyday life whether at home in one's own nation or in another country. In so doing, LGP hopes to provide a forum for public policy discussion and implementaion that encourages consistent and dependable global application and design for these democracies, their laws, legal communities and those countries transitioning to a democratic way of life.
Goal: Over time, as global citizens become familiar with the information that LGP provides and the forums for discussion that naturally arise, individuals will have at their disposal the necessary tools to more accurately assess the effectiveness of the promise of democracy when the delivery of due process and equal protection are at stake anywhere, any place, at any time. With these tools recommendations, improvements, and real changes can be made while influencing global public policy.
.
MISSION:Using a multi-disciplinary approach, to map the legal DNA of existing and emerging democracies identifying consistent standards, policies, procedures, societal, religious and ethical trends among multi-cultural populations that advance understanding of this research and data. These efforts hope to provide important information and practical applications for use in individual, community, national and international conflict resolution worldwide.
