The KR Gathering is held annually at different locations in the mid section of the country. Last year was Red Oak, Iowa....this year was Mount Vernon Ill (MVN). MVN is about 75 east of St Louis, MO

Shown in the photo at left is Mrs. Jeanette Rand who is the widow of the designer of the KR line of aircraft and now runs the Rand company. We are standing next to N344DD which is the 3rd KR2 ever built

This was our "home away from home" ...my traveling partner's camper. The weather was great and so was the camping.
