EAA Chapter 478 is building a full scale, non-flyable replica of the A-1 for the Navy museum at the Navy base, Patuxent River Md. Dave Zorychta is the team leader. I have signed up to try and carve the 8 ft long propeller. I am first carving a half scale model to develop a manufacturing technique.
