Support Equipment Used to Build a KR2S This is a floor stand I built, one for each end.  It will allow me to rotate the fuselage about the centerline by myself.  It is made from a 3/4 inch plywood triangular base with wheels (locking) at each point.  The center is 2" PVC pipe with a center piece 1 1/2" in dia that will allow me to raise and lower the height.  I used 1/8" wire rope to brace the PVC pipe.  I fabricated a jig to clamp to the firewall.  A 1/2" bolt goes thru the PVC pipe and fastens to the jig on the firewall. 90 degree rotation Closeup view of the firewall attachment jig Return to home page   page created with Webpage Designer (NS)
