My name is Darrel and I work in the forestry industry on the EastCoast of the North Island of New Zealand.

Forestry in Godzone is thriving at present with employment opportunities in all areas i.e Siliviculture, Harvesting,Management & Research.

Approximately 3yrs ago, I started training in this

industry with TROTAK gaining Unit Standards

and Forestry modules in both silviculture & harvesting in 18 months

I have worked in the Mangatu Forest,Wairangi Forest and on the East Coast
